Welcome To Lotty B Dance
We specialise in dance classes for adults in the St Helens, Merseyside area.
Whether you’ve never danced before or want to get back into the swing of it, our classes have something for everyone.

Founded in 2019, Lotty B Dance currently specialises in Silver Swans Adult Ballet and Adult Tap classes in the St Helens, Merseyside area.
From the moment you step into one of our classes you’ll be welcomed by our friendly and qualified teacher Charlotte. At Lotty B Dance we are passionate about providing high quality dance education in an inclusive environment that will encourage, challenge and inspire our dancers. We understand that everyone learns at their own pace so we encourage our students to be proud of every individual achievement. We love to watch as our dancers grow and improve. Not only do our classes give you an opportunity to learn new skills, but they are also a great place to socialise and make new friendships .

I first saw the advertisement for " Silver Swans ," when I received a copy through my letterbox. I am 59 years old and was drawn to the title, " ballet for the over 55s". I had never done ballet before and never even contemplated that it would be something that I would enjoy, however I was intrigued by the fact that it targeted an older audience and never dreamed that at my age I would be able to learn a new skill.
I decided to go and check out a class to see what it was all about and I am so glad I did. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. For me it has not just been exercise for the body but also the mind as it has helped me to concentrate as well as keep my limbs supple. Charlotte is an excellent teacher, she is patient, explains all the dance moves and French names for the movements and goes at a pace that enables the whole of the class to keep up, gently adding new moves each week. I think our class has about 9 ladies and so the informal nature of the lessons enables us to have the opportunity to make some new friends, have some fun and learn a new skill.
I would highly recommend and encourage anyone to have a try should they have an inner ballerina inside them bursting to come out and dance !
